Position summary

Working with Johnson & Johnson can change everything. Including YOU. In this exciting role as Medical Advisor (MA) Pulmonary Hypertension (PH), you'll be a therapeutic area scientific expert, a trusted scientific and collaborative business partner. The MA is responsible for translating the medical strategy into country specific tactics and implementing them together with the Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) team within the field of PH (Pulmonale Hypertensie | Janssen Nederland). You'll occupy a central role in medical affairs liaising with other internal stakeholders and the EMEA medical affairs functional network and you'll be responsible for processing and circulating medical/scientific information and customer/market insights. Your key responsibilities: Develop and maintain a network with leading specialist physicians with a particular focus on understanding their needs, key value drivers, and practical treatment patterns, as well as championing the medical value of own products. Communicate medical scientific data to leading specialists and broader external health care related audience, both proactively and reactively. Gain valuable insights into treatment patterns and scientific activities in the therapeutic area through scientific interactions and provide strategic input to the medical affairs plan and business decision-making. Develop, coordinate and participate in medical education activities, e.g. identity, support, and educate speakers as well as build medical education programs with scientific third parties. Provide medical input to cross-functional communication and action plans, support material generation and approvals seeking to improve use of multi-channel communication with our customers. Lead the medical training of the internal cross-functional team. Support and lead medical affairs clinical activities' strategy, planning, design and execution in close co-operation with Global Clinical Operations and CRO. Support HEMAR in medical and scientific input to HTA submissions as applicable. Reports to: Medical Therapeutic Area Lead (MTAL) Qualifications We would love to hear from YOU if you have: Must-haves: to be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident on your resume. Scientific degree: Medical Doctor, Pharmacist or degree in biomedical/scientific sciences (Ph.D. is an additional asset) Postgraduate clinical experience (preferably cardiovascular or pulmonology) Scientific Acumen: in-depth scientific and/or therapeutic knowledge of Oncology Knowledge of research and health care system Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills, ability to prioritize, and innovative mindset Able to work in a team and independently with a focus on open, clear, and collaborative relationships, aligned on common goals Proficient in Dutch & English with good knowledge of French, OR proficient in French & English with good knowledge of Dutch Integrity mentality, adhering to J&J Credo values, regulations, and HCBI guidelines Are you ready to make an impact?
