    J&J is looking for a Medical Excellence and Compliance Manager located in Istanbul, Turkey

    Summary

    Develops, plans, directs and coordinates operations in Medical Affairs with the primary objective to continuously improving effectiveness and increasing efficiency for the medical affairs function.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional internal stakeholders to ensure timely and quality execution of Medical Affairs activities and projects.

    • Manage metrics and project processes, including design, optimization, and oversight of various Medical Affairs initiatives like company-sponsored trials, investigator-initiated studies, and real-world evidence projects.

    • Facilitate the timely startup, execution, and closeout of programs, including expanded access and early access programs, while coordinating with investigators, site staff, and legal to finalize budgets and contracts.

    • Create and implement a robust communication plan around Medical Affairs KPIs, sharing best practices and proposing training programs to enhance skills for new projects.

    • Develop capability-building programs for key roles, coach Medical Scientific Liaison(s) for improved medical excellence, and serve as the Medical Affairs Compliance Lead, overseeing the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies.

    Qualifications

    • Hold a university degree in medicine (MD), pharmacy, or life sciences, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry; experience in a similar role is a plus.

    • Demonstrate strong proficiency in written and spoken English, along with a commitment to the highest ethical standards and individual accountability.

    • Exhibit a self-starter attitude with a proactive, business-focused approach and the vision to effectively shape the role, complemented by strong problem-solving skills.

    • Possess proficiency in MS Office applications, excellent presentation and teaching skills, and the ability to represent J&J professionally at medical and scientific events; must be able to reside in İstanbul.
