    We are searching for the best talent for Associate Training Manager to be in Seoul.

    Purpose: The main responsibility of Associate Training Manager , Korea is to establish Impella & Heart Recovery as new Standard of Care in an assigned region by transferring clinical support and training best practices and operating mechanisms and therapy development toolkits to the Korea Commercial Team.

    You will be responsible for**:**

    1. Develop Heart Recovery Clinical Team:

    As a primary responsibility Design and Implement a Sign off process for the Korea Heart Recovery Commercial Team. Ensure Sign-off process and training milestones are compliantly adhered to will be responsible for designing, implementing and conducting comprehensive advanced training programs on our existing and future product portfolio, product enhancements and new indications. They are the cardiac and surgical subject matter expert for the APAC clinical field teams and customers, providing on-site resource during cases in OR and/or ICU, Cathlab.

    1. Therapy Development:

    Establishing Impella as the standard of care for Heart Recovery in Korea will be achieved through training MDs & hospital staff about the appropriate use of Impella through protocols and consensus ensuring excellent clinical outcomes. Establish peer-to-peer networks across the region to share best practices from APAC to Korea. Plan regular visits to all institutions with active Impella programs to monitor activity and collect clinically relevant data. Staff and follow up major conferences & local heart failure symposiums meaningfully in partnership with Marketing and peer to peer education.

    1. Account Management / Account Training:

    Partner with the Korea Impella Commercial Team to use APAC account selection criteria to identify the correct accounts to begin partnership on the Impella therapy. Enable and drive our patient growth and clinical performance in key centres for approved indications. Coordinate our strategy with commercial team, set an example and lead clinical activities and establish transparent case reporting consistent with Asia Pacific practices. Initiate and coordinate Heart Recovery customer training programs to develop/expand physician skills to drive the Impella adoption in active sites as well in new sites. Provide frameworks for hospital consensus and protocols of therapy.

    1. Patient Support:

    Improve patient outcomes constantly by implementing latest Heart Recovery clinical strategies, supporting clinical staff within the cathlab, OR and ICU. Perform After Action Review's with MD's following each case. Establish peer-to-peer networks across the region to share best practices and outcomes reviews. Plan regular visits to all institutions with active Impella programs to monitor activity and collect clinically relevant data and communicate activities with other team members and sales counterparts. Improve patient outcomes through education and medical staff interaction and case support. Availability for emergency case support required. Should be fully competent in supporting Impella cases.

    1. Commercial Partner Support:

    Establish strong relationships with the Korea Impella Commercial Team. Execute quarterly strategy meetings and After-Action Reviews, Clinical Outcomes Reviews, IPRs to monitor progress and to ensure continuous learning and improvement. Ensure weekly communication with commercial team and APAC team partners to align & ensure that they meet Heart Recovery's Global Playbook is closely followed.

    Qualifications / Requirements:

    • Bachelor of Science in a healthcare-related field; nursing or biomedical engineering discipline preferred.

    • 8+ years of overall experience in the healthcare setting, within the device/pharma industry or hospital.

    • 5+ years of overall experience in a hospital setting (OR, Cath Lab, ICU, Nursing, Perfusion, or Cath Lab Tech experience preferred).

    • 3+ years of experience working on an Interventional Cardiology Medical Device Commercial Team, specifically in commercial, clinical training, and education.

    • Established relationships with Interventional Cardiologists, CT Surgeons, Intensivists, and Heart Failure Specialists preferred.

    • Fluent in English and Korean, with strong meeting facilitation and public speaking skills.

    • Ability to communicate ideas and information clearly, effectively, and frequently (oral and written).

    • Ability to exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

    • Must possess a passion for training and education and strive for training excellence.

    • Must have strong interpersonal and teaching skills.

    • Business acumen and the ability to set direction in a highly dynamic environment.

    • Self-reliant; takes initiative; results-oriented; collaborative and boundaryless.

    • 'Patients First' outlook.

    • Results-driven.

    • Positive, can-do, problem-solving attitude.

    • Cardiac surgery or cardiology background preferred.

    • Experience as a perfusionist is valued.

    • 3+ years of experience building and maintaining strong relationships with KOLs (Heart Surgery, Interventional Cardiologists, Heart Failure Cardiologists).

    • Ability to travel extensively within Korea and the Asia Pacific as required.
