Job Description
The Senior Director will be a part of the Med-Tech SC Digital Transformation Global Program Management Office, a multi-year global business transformation initiative that will modernize our end-to-end Supply Chain digital capabilities by harmonizing our disparate ecosystem of 40+ major global MD ERP systems, standardizing our core business processes and products [across Plan, Source, Make, Quality, Deliver, Finance, and Data), and enabling our integrated data strategy through a single SAP S/4 HANA instance. The role will also play a lead role on the integrated design with the CFIN Hospital Med-Tech team and the Transact enterprise wide deployment.
The role is expected to have 4 direct reports and an extended team of 10+ experts who will be accountable for driving the definition and harmonization of core end-to-end business capabilities across all MT Supply Chain for the finance function and integrated/downstream areas. These experts will be core team members of various multi-year, highly complex, global programs that will transform our MT SC.
The leader will enable the standardized core business capabilities and processes across the finance functions and business units within the S4 MT ERP. This will be enabled by partnering across the key stakeholder groups to gain a deep understanding of as-is business needs/capabilities, benchmarking, continuous improvement, consistent design standards, and support product deployment through the various programs. This individual must leverage a refined, multi-functional toolset of business expertise, technical knowledge, and digital acumen to effectively interact with a breadth of business stakeholders and global process owners. The successful candidate must be able to engage and operate with program teams at an execution level, as well as with senior leadership at a strategic level.
The leader will need to develop strong business partnerships across key stakeholders groups, including (but not limited to) the MT SC, Commercial, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Enterprise SC Data Management, Central Finance program (CFIN), EPM, JJT, and Enterprise Sourcing.
Key Responsibilities
Partner across the organization to drive global core business capability standardization, alignment, and adoption for the finance function. Ensure successful delivery through program execution.
Responsible for the Finance Global Template design across ERP landscape. Translate business processes as defined by functional COE’s into ERP capabilities. Ensure delivery of ERP capabilities through program execution.
In collaboration with senior leaders, ensure design aligns with Supply Chain, Commercial, and Finance strategies and roadmaps; ensure ongoing integrity of global template
Lead global team of finance associates (direct and in-direct reports) in design, development, maintenance and improvement of global business capabilities for respective area of responsibility.
Drive establishment and implementation of process design methodology, including relevant templates, tools, methodology, controls, and cadence. Leverage and scale existing assets and best practices. Own all business assets and deliverables.
Manage cross-program processes design interdependencies, conflicts, and challenges by working with respective stakeholders to implement controls, cadence, and risk mitigations.
Ensure quality delivery of team deliverables on time and within budget.
Partner with program leads to establish integrated project plans / schedules / deliverables.
Ensure program timeliness and financial health are appropriately managed throughout program lifecycle
Partner with data standards team to ensure data standards meet business capability needs
Partner with SigniFI, J&J Finance Global Services, J&J Tax, and global MD Supply Chain and OTC S4/HANA ERP roadmap teams to insure fully integrated and optimized end state ERP solution
Ensure planning and execution of business simulation and validation/readiness
Partner with business adoption team to ensure change management, business readiness, site readiness, and training are delivered to meet business needs
Develop and deliver program presentations for senior-level MD stakeholders to advise on historical and future program status
For U.S. applicants, in accordance with applicable disclosure requirements, the anticipated base pay range for this position is $152,000 to $263,350. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
