Position summary
Janssen Pharmaceuticals is looking for a Packaging Materials Engineer to join the MSAT (Manufacturing Sciences and Technology) team located in Beerse, Belgium.
The MSAT Packaging Engineering team supports the manufacturing processes of Liquid, Cream, Transdermal and Sterile products at Janssen Supply Chain (JSC) Beerse. Our team drives high quality and reliable operations through the design, introduction, optimization and trouble shooting of packaging materials, for both Pharmaceutical and Consumer products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support new product introductions by coordinating the design and setup of materials, pallet patterns, …
- Lead/support supplier- and site-initiated material changes
- Coordinate root cause investigations and provide solutions using problem solving skills to improve manufacturing reliability
- Lead all aspects of complaint handling, including root cause analysis, interaction with suppliers, and support in corrective action plans
- Handle technical templates and drawings of secondary and tertiary packaging materials
- Perform shipping validation studies and line trails to ensure flawless introduction of new and changed materials
