We are hiring the best talent for Finance Analyst for Payroll to be located in São José dos Campos, Brazil Key Responsibilities: Responsible for performing testing on implementation of new system Responsible for preparing and reviewing requirements of project Responsible for ensuring that all payroll related expenses are allocated to the appropriate account. Accountable for accurate reconciliations of payroll accounts and timely reporting. Reconcile data from Payroll to Accounting or HR systems Perform Source to Target compliance control for all inbound data integrations Develops and maintains comprehensive knowledge of payroll requirements, practices, policies and procedures for the department or function, and insures the documentation of these requirements. Supporting review and changes in the payroll process and subprocess, identifying opportunity areas and addressing the respective actions. Description Validates results of system output Validates configuration of new system Prepares account reconciliations on monthly basis for all payroll related accounts. Obtains original source documentation for monthly reconciliations. Researches discrepancies and resolves any open issues by end of month (except for quarter end close). Reviews monthly and quarterly close activities for all payroll accounts. Prepares and enters journal entries as well as any prior period adjustments. Assumes responsibility for weekly/monthly payroll deduction payments to third parties. Conducts general ledger interface testing of all new pay codes and process level changes. Researches and resolves inquiries relating to general ledger interface charges supporting Business Finance and Accounting areas. Works as a Payroll focal point for IT area Reconciles payroll tax data. Prepares Local, Regional and Global KPI, dashboards and reports to provide visibility of Payroll Accounts and Registers to J&J teams and Leadership Connects with Local, Regional and Global team to support trainings, projects, external and internal audits Qualifications Qualifications and Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or similar studies (required) Years of experience: 2-4 years (required) Knowledge and Experience with SAP (Accounting Module) Payroll process knowledge and experience in payroll operations Skills Constructive way of working, good collaboration and teamwork Ability to work with a multitude of people Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Continuous Improvement oriented Customer experience skills Good verbal and written communication skills Toolset (Preferred but not required) Knowledge and Experience with FPW Knowledge and Experience with Workday and SAP Time Knowledge and Experience with Internal Controls Knowledge and Experience with KPIs and Dashboards Experience in Project English & Spanish intermediate language skills Primary Location Brazil-São Paulo-São José dos Campos-Rod.Presidente Dutra, Km 154 Organization J&J Brazil (7680) Job Function Finance Requisition ID 2206038331W
