Planning Lead

Mentor Medical Systems is recruiting for a Planning Lead, located in Leiden the Netherlands. This role is integral to achieving our goal and ambition to deliver. The Planning Lead is a key role in the Materials Management department to keep the day to day business going while preparing the site plan for next months and years. We are responsible for the purchasing of raw materials, the warehousing and all planning and scheduling processes for the site. As delegate of the materials manager you will tackle day to day challenges combined with leading roles in important projects. You will be ‘connecting the dots’ internally with various departments and externally with the global JNJ teams and suppliers. This role has significant exposure to many departments, internally, externally, locally, and global! Key Responsibilities: Be responsible for the master planning process for the plant Lead improvements and change projects on plant and global level Address supply challenges with global and regional planning teams Lead the site monthly SOP preparation Lead weekly operational planning meetings with operational departments. Provide resolutions to Non Conformance, CAPA and audit actions. Guide and connect the warehouse, planning and purchase team with operational tasks and decisions Act as delegate of the Materials Manager Qualifications Master degree in supply chain/demand planning management or similar. 5-10 years’ experience in a supply chain manufacturing environment Good team player and soft skills. Strong data driven attitude and have the ability model,analyze and present the data to management. Advanced proficiency with data analysis and tools/techniques (Excel, SQL etc.) Ambitious, result orientated and drive for success. APICS / SCOR certified.
