The Principal Design Controls Engineer will continue to lead implementation of Design Control Optimization across New Product Development at Depuy Synthes. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing processes to identify, optimize, and flow down CTQ’s.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead CTQ Adjudication Team to develop consensus regarding CTQ identification for common devices, general requirements, etc. across DPS, and own CTQ “Grab and Go” / “common content” generation

• Guide NPD project teams with difficult CTQ decisions and potential exceptions

• Ensure CTQ Adjudication Team is properly staffed to include all platforms, and is a well-functioning team

• Define and own process to optimize CTQ identification across DPS

• Participate actively as a member of Design Control Optimization team with representatives from platforms. Engage in decisions, assist/lead in other efforts like Retrospective CTQ analysis and assist platforms as necessary.

• Lead/provide guidance to other Time to Market projects
