Process Engineer Surgical vision Uppsala

We are looking for a new Process Engineer at Surgical Vision for our OVD Medical Device Portfolio. You will belong to a positive, newly formed team: Manufacturing Engineering, which consists of 9 engineers. The team supports the site and production with short term and long term technical solutions for components, products and processes. During the coming years, the site in Uppsala is in a technical transformation, replacing existing technology and machinery with new and for the right person there is now an opportunity to join the journey.

We believe that you:

Have experience and interest of working with/leading purchase, validation and implementation of new equipments, improvements on existing equipments and manufacturing processes

or

Have experience and interest of implementing and updating components and packaging materials, write specifications and do technical testing on components and packaging material when needed.

To be successful in the role you need to be a good communicator and collaborator since you will have a lot of internal and external contacts. You will be involved in different project and line activities and you will act as both coordinator and expert. In all process engineer roles you support production in one way or another and you will manage deviations, change management and qualification activities in your area.

Objectives of the Position

• Drive changes to processes/equipment and/or to components, raw material and labelling.
• Evaluation, implementation, write specifications of components and its materials.
• Write process verification/validation test protocols
• Manage deviations including root cause analysis, change management and implementation
• Support the site in your area of expertise
• Risk Management for changes
