Position summary
DePuy Synthes, a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Research and Development Engineering Co-op, Fall, located in West Chester, PA. This is a full time six-month position which provides a student valuable work experience in lieu of a typical college semester.
You will gain the skills to advance one or more projects in the Craniomaxillofacial and/or Thoracic anatomy regions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will use Creo to design surgical implants, instruments, and test fixtures.
You will draft protocols for development tests and interpret the results, proposing design changes where appropriate.
You will support a variety of verification activities including, but not limited to, drawing reviews, tolerance stack analyses, mechanical tests, and finite element analyses.
You will have the opportunity to support end user assessments including participation in cadaver labs.
