    Position summary

    Acclarent, part of the Johnson & Johnson Medical Device Companies is recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager (Pacific Quakes). This is a field-based position which territory includes the following states: Washington, California, Oregon, and Hawaii.

    Chronic sinusitis affects 3 million Americans each year and five per cent of the U.S. adult population suffers from a phenomenon referred to as Eustachian Tube Dysfunction (blocked ears / ear pain). Acclarent, Inc. is dedicated to supporting otolaryngologists with minimally-invasive ENT technologies that relieve this suffering as effectively and painlessly as possible. For more than a decade Acclarent, Inc. has pioneered innovative technologies, including the balloon dilation system that’s been used to treat more than one million patients.

    The Regional Business Manager (RBM) is responsible for delivering the sales objectives of the company and for the management of a team of field-based sales and clinical support associates. The Regional Manager ensures that all direct reports are performing their duties, as required, providing a professional and knowledgeable interface with the healthcare community.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Under limited supervision of the Areas Sales Director and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:

    • Works closely with Area Sales Director, VP of Sales, Commercial Marketing, and training teams to ensure sales team has the tools, support, and education needed to perform optimally.
    • Instills Credo values, leads with integrity, and enforces all Company polices.
    • Partners with employees to maintain their professional development plans; holds employees accountable for following through on professional development commitments.
    • Utilizes performance management processes and tools to assist in activity planning and accountability.
    • Follows corporate sales direction and leads team to meet and exceed objectives and metrics.
    • Collaborates with internal partners to assist in the facilitation direct reports’ work.
    • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
    • Responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable.
    • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by manager.
