    Do you want to use your hard-earned skills to make a difference in the lives of patients? This candidate will join the Discovery Proteomic Platforms (DPP) group within the Discovery Technologies and Molecular Pharmacology (DTMP) department of Therapeutics Discovery, to develop and apply groundbreaking approaches to proteomic bioinformatic analysis. This effort will support the identification and development of small and large molecule therapeutics for diseases within Oncology, Immunology, Neuroscience, Cardiovascular, Metabolic and Infectious Diseases. You will work in an exciting, interdisciplinary environment, overlapping the different stages of the discovery pipeline, by interacting with several internal and external organizations. You will implement novel and employ established bioinformatic analyses and build dynamic visualizations of proteomic data from specific experiments to large scale data mining. With your help, we will drive development of medicines for our patients!

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Thrive in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment to drive decisional impacts in the drug discovery space.
    • Use biostatistics and bioinformatics algorithms to integrate multiple levels of biological information together with proteomics data, for new hypothesis generation, target identification and target prioritization.
    • Apply visualization tools for proteomics data to drive program progression through clear digestibility and impact.
    • Provide clear interpretation of proteomics data and propose pathways for further computational and biological validation to our therapeutic area partners and collaborators.
    • Collaborate with colleagues from within the proteomics group to drive proteomics experiments across our portfolio.
    • Demonstrate creativity and apply novel approaches to solving scientific problems.
