    The overall responsibilities of the position include supporting the pay administration processes for the DePuy Synthes direct business units applicable to the calculation and payment of variable and incentive compensation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Independently work across Business Units (BUs) within Compensation & Execution (C&E) as well as other areas of DPS (HR, Legal, Finance, etc.) to address inquiries and ensure they are appropriately researched, resolved, and logged in a timely manner
    • Execute validations on compensation-related data at regular intervals ensuring data is up-to-date and accurate based on field instruction
    • Be reactive to the changing environment and be able to develop and implement additional validations as compensation components evolve
    • Ensure compensation/sales-related discrepancies are fully analyzed and addressed in a timely manner to avoid payment and/or compliance issues
    • Lead research, analysis, and data compilation efforts to identify resource and/or process gaps that can lead to pay and/or compliance issues
    • Maintenance of C&E items requiring centralized tracking for management visibility – i.e., participant/territory alignments and manual compensation components
    • Work to develop centrally located, standardized responses to general inquiries from the field; partnering with the broader C&E team to harmonize efforts on compensation-related tasks
    • Responsible for ensuring compensation-related processes are aligned to JNJ pay policies, SOX controls, and internal procedures
    • Participate in user acceptance training (UAT) activities (when available) to ensure system adherence to pay policies and accurate compensation calculations
    • Other tasks and duties as assigned
