    Position summary

    The BDTS, Analytical Development Organization, is seeking a Senior Associate Scientist to provide sample management support in a fast-paced global environment. This role sits in Malvern, PA.

    The candidate will work as part of a team environment as well as contribute individually to meet project timelines and complete assigned objectives.

    The individual will work with various software and collaborate with scientists to assure samples are accurately and timely submitted, to the laboratories, for analytical testing and implement process improvements to streamline routine activities and communicate concerns to management and project leaders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support BTDS - AD organization with Sample Management execution for analytical testing.
    • Work in a team environment as well as contributing individually to meet project timeline and objectives.
    • Lead process improvement initiatives focused on the Sample Management and Scheduling
    • Understand and manage software programs focused on sample management activities and support
    • Responsible for training BDTS employees on related program procedures and providing direction and feedback.
    • Support BTDS - AD organization with Sample Management execution for analytical testing.
    • Review daily, samples submitted for testing.
    • Perform triage of sample submissions daily to ensure samples are in the correct queue for their intended purpose
    • Ensure the samples are clearly labeled and submitted for the accurate test method and laboratory
    • Supervise process for compliance with procedures
    • Build and review metrics
    • Lead BDTS - AD Sample Management process improvements
    • Independently lead meetings to ensure program compliance
    • Manage samples and data form external testing locations
    • Able to think and work independently with moderate supervision
