    Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Counsel, Litigation Policy and Risk Management, to be located in New Brunswick, New Jersey or Washington, DC. This Senior Counsel position is for an attorney within the Corporate Law Group of the Law Department of Johnson & Johnson. The Senior Counsel to the Litigation Policy and Risk Management Group or “LPRM” will be responsible for (i) litigation policy initiatives, (ii) litigation risk management, and (iii) case specific initiatives.

    Responsibilities:

    Litigation Policy:

    • Execute policy initiatives designed to advance litigation objectives
    • Further legislative, judicial and administrative priorities —at local, state, federal and international levels—that impact litigation outcomes
    • Liaise with colleagues in Government Affairs & Policy, Communications and Investor Relations regarding litigation policy initiatives

    Litigation Risk Management:

    • Actively participate in processes/meetings designed to facilitate litigation risk mitigation as products proceed through their lifecycles
    • Actively participate in processes/meetings designed to facilitate litigation risk mitigation as to specific ingredients or materials
    • Engage with teams contemplating investment in new assets to assess and mitigate litigation risks
    • Identify/develop data analytic tools and processes for quantifying litigation risks associated with new and existing products
    • Manage various litigation risk mitigation projects on an as-needed/identified basis and establish cross functional groups for same

    Case Specific Initiatives:

    • Develop and execute ecosystem engagement plans for specific litigations
    • Assess, evaluate and execute opportunities for affirmative litigation
