In this role, you will be responsible for driving the design and implementation of data quality profiling rules and processes, using SAP Information Steward, to ensure the integrity of Johnson & Johnson’s financial data. You will also support the reconciliation processes across the enterprise for new financial accounting, reporting and planning systems. You will work closely with Data Governance, Run Support, IT, and the Data Reconciliation teams, identifying new opportunities to improve and enhance the data reconciliation process and advance the end user experience. If you’re an individual that enjoys working at the intersection of business & technology, has a solid understanding of financial processes (financial planning, accounting and reporting), as well as a proven knowledge in data lineage across ERP & EPM systems, then this role may be for you! Key Responsibilities: Lead data quality projects and ongoing enhancement related activities, ensuring that data quality processes (completeness, accuracy and validity) are being addressed for in scope data assets Coordinate data profiling activities, working with the Finance Data Stewards to identify and prioritize opportunities to monitor data assets for continuous data quality. Work with IT to implement required data rules in SAP Information Steward and coordinate with Data Stewards to validate that the data rules function as expected. Provide leadership with meaningful updates to assess progress and/or risks to key data quality initiatives Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Finance or Accounting. Master’s degree or MBA preferred. Advanced certifications, such as CPA, CMA, Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or a certificate in the Information Management space is preferred Experience and Skills: A minimum of 2 years of SAP Central Finance functional experience is required. Functional experience with Anaplan or similar planning tools is preferred Knowledge of financial accounting, planning and/or reporting processes is required Knowledge of Finance Master Data processes (create/update/deactivate) and data profiling concepts is preferred Experience with SAP Information Steward or similar data quality tools is strongly preferred Experience with RPA technology, such as Alteryx, and reporting tools like Tableau and SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office is preferred Experience managing Microsoft SharePoint sites is preferred Knowledge of SQL language is highly preferred Excellent oral and written communication, and effective in building trust, respect and cooperation among teams Highly developed skills in priority setting and alignment of project priorities Ability to break down complex problems and projects into manageable goals Innovative and continuous improvement mentality with the ability to get to the heart of the issue and help make sound and timely decisions to resolve problems The role may require up to 10% domestic and/or international travel At Johnson & Johnson, we’re on a mission to change the trajectory of health for humanity.
