For our Engineering, Validation & Maintenance (EVM) department we are currently looking for a new colleague in the function of: Senior Electrical Maintenance Technician (M/F/X) Department: The Engineering-Validation-Maintenance (EVM) department (> 25 persons) is a motivated and dynamic team. The maintenance team is divided in two teams. One team is responsible for all involved production and laboratory equipment, the other for the technical support of all utilities, laboratory and GMP production areas. The department furthermore consists of an Engineering team which is responsible for various other disciplines like project management, safety, quality and automation. The last pilar within the department is the Validation team which looks after the correct qualification and validation status of GMP critical equipment and processes. Job Description: Within the EVM Utility & Building maintenance team you are primarily responsible for our electrical installations (e.g.: UPS, emergency generator, electrical main- and sub stations) and the guidance of external contractors during maintenance and project execution. These activities are mostly performed by external parties, you will be responsible to oversee safe work habits in the designated areas during the execution. The position reports directly to the Supervisor Utility & Building with a dotted line to the Installation Responsible person (NL: IV-er), The technical focus area will be primarily be electrical but also mechanical when you are involved with other U&B systems like water, steam, HVAC, gasses and various automation systems. For this job you will be using our CMMS system SAP Sustain to plan, record and close work orders, maintenance logs and spare part usage. You will become a member of the EVM 24/7 support team to support first line trouble shooting outside normal office hours (one shift every ~6 weeks). Your key responsibilities: Plan, schedule and execute preventive/corrective maintenance. Setting up work permits, switching plans and instructions required for maintenance and inspection activities. Guidance of third parties during executing of preventive/corrective maintenance activities Act as the Electrical SME within the department and able to fulfill the “Work Responsible Person” role (NL: WV-er) within the U&B team. Regular consultation with the external Installation Responsible person to advise the organization on any additional or corrective maintenance. First line troubleshooting in case of electrical or technical problems. Detect deviations or irregularities in the electrical installations. Performing or analyzing periodic checks and inspections. Closely involved in the drawing management within the department. Follow protocols and procedures to ensure compliance (EHS and Q) Support departmental improvement and modification projects Guarantee the safety on the shopfloor Qualifications Competences: Team player Organization skills. Qualifications: Education: MBO (level 4) / MTS Electrical Engineering. Specific Knowledge and experience: Minimum of 2- 4 years of work experience in a maintenance organization preferably in biotechnology/pharmaceutical/process industry environment. Minimum of 4 years work experience in electrical engineering.
