    Position summary

    MPO, our mission is to provide diligent stewardship of the JnJ Innovative Medicines business model, by protecting and optimizing the product intellectual property (IP) structures in close collaboration with JnJ Innovative Medicines Commercial, R&D, Supply Chain, Tax and Treasury.

    How YOU can help:

    Currently we are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the J&J Innovative Medicine Principal Operations (IMPO) organization as part of the IMPO Inventory & Costing team.

    The purpose of the role is to pro-active lead the standard costing process for Geel manufacturing plant and Beerse Sourcing plants with a critical mindset towards variances analyses, master data and stakeholder deliverables.

    In this role you will work in a cross-country virtual team with direct colleagues in Switzerland, Belgium, Ireland and Netherlands, to manage day-to-day activities for standard costing and intercompany pricing while looking continuously into process improvements.

    The key responsibilities & the impact YOU will have:

    As a future Senior Financial Analyst, your main accountability will mostly:

    • Lead the standard cost pricing process (actual and budget) and the financial flows for products sourced out of Belgium and the Geel manufacturing plant.

    • Maintain the standard costing master data and Intercompany pricing daily.

    • Act as a SME to provide Business support related to finance approval tools (sIDMA/Pendulum/ICP-tool)

    • Collaborate with key stakeholders (Supply Chain, R&D, Planning, Tax, Trade compliance, ...) to drive the financial set-up of new products flows.

    • Contribute & influence design of digital transformation solutions (such as TranSCend) related to standard costing set-up and variance calculation.

    • Identify and implement process improvements and digital solutions to increase efficiency and play a pro-active and value adding role in the shaping of the cross-country Standard Costing team

    • Proactively take ownership for personal development, ensuring a positive work life balance while managing stakeholders.

    Qualifications

    We would love to hear from YOU, if you have/are:

    • Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting, or a related field is required. Master is a pro.

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, SAP and standards costing experience is an asset.

    • Strong financial, analytical, and digital skills, result and performance driven.

    • Team-player and collaborative working style.

    • Motivated, flexible, and pro-active, eager to take initiative.

    • Strong communication skills & influencing skills, customer focus and proactive attitude, and ability to partner effectively with business.

    • Ability to take initiative and work independently in an international and hybrid (virtual/on-site) environment; ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
