    Position summary

    Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst, for our finance team supporting the MedTech Supply Chain Finance CFO and the larger organization. This position is located in Bridgewater, NJ, and may require occasional travel of up to 10%.

    The Sr. Financial Analyst will support the MedTech Global Supply Chain Finance budget and provide key insights and analysis to the CFO MedTech Supply Chain and their direct team. Facilitating overviews of quarterly results, expense vs forecast, to CFO, which provides visibility to MedTech Supply Chain Finance org spend across all categories, from headcount to project related. Build out of forecasts according to the yearly J&J Finance forecast schedule. Function as SME (subject matter expert) for all matters pertaining to quarterly spend, variances to forecast, expected hiring and vacancies, and project related / vendor spending. Some ad-hoc projects could emerge related to AGP (Affiliate Gross Profit) analytics and Support of MedTech Supply Chain GP P&L analysis and consolidations.

    Responsibilities include FP&A (Budgeting, forecasting, NPV & IRR analysis, etcetera), financial modeling, acquisition/ divestiture support as well as quarterly close activities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support the >$70 million MedTech Supply Chain Finance Budget in building out forecasts, variance analysis, headcount tracking, and identification of key drivers for spend patterns.
    • Lead the quarterly close conversation and presentation to the CFO of MedTech Supply Chain, providing valuable insights into the results of spend relative to budget and areas of over or underspend, accordingly.
    • Liaison between local submission teams and the more centralized Global Functions consolidators to communicate and consolidate results, targets, headcount details, etc.
    • Provide general guidance and support of more junior analysts on the MedTech Supply Chain Home Office budget team and offer analytical and framing insights as needed.
    • Some intermittent ad-hoc projects related to MedTech Supply Chain Gross Profit and P&L Consolidations.
    • Drive continuous operational improvements on an as-needed basis to simplify processes, reduce complexity and provide relevant insights to enable decision making,
    • Role will report to the Finance Manager of MedTech Supply Chain Home Office budgets, within the J&J-wide Finance Organization.
