Responsibilities:
The Senior Financial Analyst, DPDS Discovery will provide financial and strategic leadership for the Therapeutics Discovery organization. Key activities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Leading planning (JU/LRFP, NU, BP), latest thinking and actual cycles budget update cycles for functional expenses (~$600MM) and headcount (>1000 FTE’s).
- Coordinating the budgeting process for your business partners: budgeting, forecasting and management of expenses and headcount.
- Support strategic investments and help develop business cases in partnership with functional business partners. Challenging business assumptions, developing business cases and guiding capital appropriation requests.
- Support ad hoc projects, applying financial analysis to provide recommendations for opportunities to create new value for business partners
- Identify and/or participate in the implementation of operational improvements / standardization of activities
- Support FLDP and Co-op on the team. Provide coaching and mentoring and create an environment of professional growth for the team.
