J&J Innovative Medicine Principal Operations belongs to the Innovative Medicine Companies of Johnson & Johnson. J&J IM Principal Operations is a global organization located in USA, Belgium, Ireland, The Netherlands, Singapore and Switzerland.

Within J&J IM Principal Operations, our mission is to provide diligent stewardship of the Innovative Medicine business model, by protecting and optimizing the product intellectual property (IP) structures in close collaboration with J&J Innovative Medicine Commercial, R&D, Supply Chain, Tax and Treasury.

How YOU can help:

Currently we are looking for Senior Financial Analyst to join the IMPO organization in Beerse, Belgium.

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of coordinating and supporting all facets of Local GAAP reporting within our vibrant IMPO Belgian organization. You'll dive deep into accounting principles and financial analysis. Additionally, you will be gaining invaluable insights into our profit and loss (P&L) statements and balance sheets. Your contributions will directly impact our financial strategies, driving us toward greater success and innovation.

Entities in scope comprises of Innovate Medicine Principal and Treasury companies. The role reports to the Finance Manager Principal Accounting & Reporting Belgium.

The key responsibilities & the impact YOU will have:

• Financial Statements Reporting & Analysis: Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements in compliance with Belgian GAAP for our prominent legal entities, including Janssen Pharmaceutica NV. Your expertise will ensure statutory compliance while contributing to the annual accounts, statutory adjustments, quarterly analyses, and the annual report.

• Stakeholder reporting: Support the preparation of the information provided to the Worker's Council and Board of Directors. Your contributions will be crucial in keeping key stakeholders informed and aligned with our financial strategy.

• Forecasting: Utilize your analytical skills to calculate and forecast the local GAAP (Belgian GAAP) figures, providing valuable insights into our financial position and planning strategies

• Finance Transformation: Be an integral part of our finance transformation projects (SigniFi) within your areas of responsibility. Embrace innovative solutions that drive efficiency and enhance our financial operations.

• Corporate Income Tax collaboration: Collaborate closely with tax teams to prepare accurate corporate income tax declarations. Your attention to detail will ensure compliance and optimize our tax position.

• Support Audits: Support internal and external auditors with the execution of required activities related to processes under your responsibility.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between the finance department, tax department, and other stakeholders across the organization. Foster collaboration and alignment on financial matters to drive collective success.

• Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement and propose scenario's on how to implement

• Documentation: Keep all work instructions, SOP's and other documentation for audit controls (internal audit, PWC) compliant and ensure all processes are aligned in a changing environment.

IT'S ALL ABOUT YOU

We would love to hear from YOU, if you have/are:

• Acquired Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Min.3 years of proven experience in financial analysis and reporting, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Knowledge of Belgian GAAP accounting is desirable.
• A strong command of the English and Dutch language is a must, both written and verbal.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
