    Position summary

    Janssen Research and Development (JRD), a member of Johnson and Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) position supporting Global Clinical Operations, within Global Development.

    Janssen Research & Development (JRD) aims to transform patients' lives by discovering and developing innovative solutions to address the most important medical needs of our time. Within Global Clinical Operations , we manage the delivery of the internal Janssen book of work across all Therapeutic Areas and Clinical Trial Phases living into our GCO identity which is Exceptional Trial Delivery, Wherever Science Takes Us.

    The senior financial analyst will provide financial leadership, support and analysis to their respective GCO business partners. Key activities for this position include, but are not limited to, budgeting, forecasting, quarterly close processes, and strategic projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Drive Finance Controlling in the largest division of Global Development.
    • Collaborate with Senior Leadership Team members within GCO to develop forecasts of functional budgets and headcount for business plan, major updates and latest thinking. (5K resources Globally)
    • Foster the environment where finance ensures the business partners maintain transparency, good understanding of financial processes and impact and clear expectations with the GCO business partners
    • Meet and work with departmental heads to review FTE demand-supply on a regular basis and ensure headcount reporting systems properly reflects headcount resource supply for the respective area.
    • Balance business priorities such as building new capabilities and maintaining ongoing business to manage conversations with the business partners.
    • Lead and participate in ad hoc (strategic) projects, process improvement initiatives and special requests such as savings calculations.
    • Ensure that the principles and elements of the Credo, J&J business policies, Healthcare Compliance, Regulatory, GAAP, and Sarbanes Oxley are adhered to all aspects of the job responsibilities.

    Furthermore, this individual will be part of the Global Development Finance Team and as such will work closely with the rest of the GD team in Beerse and in the US.
