The Deliver Finance team, based in Piscataway, NJ, is an Enterprise team created to maximize financial leadership and analytics to drive value in the areas of Distribution, Logistics & Customer Service across the three sectors in J&J. This Senior Financial Analyst role will support North America Deliver Operations. A rotation in Deliver Finance will enable individuals to develop key skills as a finance leader at J&J: problem-solving, change management and influencing skills, data-driven analytics, conflict management, and exposure to senior finance management in J&J. The Deliver Finance Team provides a unique perspective to both business partnering and finance leadership: Business Partnering This position requires interaction with senior management to provide business and finance insights in a highly dynamic organization. Business partners works in conjunction with Finance team to provide analysis to drive insights to shape business and network strategies. Finance Leadership Due to the interdependency where Deliver plays in both SG&A and COGS, this position provides exposure to both Commercial Finance, as well as Supply Chain Finance. Key responsibilities: Lead the financial planning, reporting, and analytics processes for North America Deliver. Own business planning & forecast cycles, month-end financial close and budget vs actuals analysis for various areas within NA Deliver. Provide end to end financial leadership and strategic support for various business cases and initiatives, such as Network Optimizations, Sourcing RFPs, Acquisitions, New Product Launches, Cost Improvement Projects, long-range financial planning, prioritization of investments, etc. leading to value creating opportunities. Deliver outstanding value through continuing to simplify processes, reducing complexity and providing relevant insights to enable excellence in business partnering and decision making. Prepare management review decks and effectively frame and communicate business insights to senior management and various partners to help inform and drive fact-based decisions. Support enterprise-wide initiatives and other special projects as requested. Provide support for key compliance activities to ensure adherence to SOX, WWP's and internal policies and procedures. The SFA will report to the Finance Manager, North America, Deliver and will work directly with senior leadership within the Deliver function as well as with the Commercial and Supply Chain Finance organizations. Qualifications A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably a major in Accounting or Finance A MBA, CPA, CMA, or other financial certifications are preferred A minimum of three (3) years of finance or accounting experience is required Experience in supply chain, pharmaceutical, medical device, or consumer products industries is preferred Candidate must possess excellent analytical, conceptual, communication, and interpersonal skills Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (i.e. Pivot Tables, Formulas, VLOOKUP functions) is required The ability to think creatively and work in a team environment is required Individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement operational improvements, work independently and handle several tasks simultaneously The ability to effectively take on leadership roles and framing to senior leadership is required This position may require up to 10% domestic travel Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company.
