    Johnson&Johnson Surgical Vision is recruiting for a(n) Global Demand Planner, Limerick, Ireland. 

    The Global Demand Planner is responsible for
    Supporting statistical forecast governance including generating the statistical base forecast based on an analysis of history and the application of statistical modeling to project future demand. In collaboration with regional planners, the role will be responsible to demand sense and validate aggregate forecast requirements by product and/or geographical hierarchies and support the demand handover process as a part of IBP. 

    The incumbent will have global exposure to regional and global leadership teams and work closely with other functions.

    **Key Responsibilities:

    Integrated Business Planning**
    •    Participates in Global Demand Reviews and other IBP forums and drive conversation with senior leadership including key reports, metrics, and measures (forecast attainment, MAPE & BIAS)
    •    Consolidate and aggregate demand plan (base, event and life cycle forecast)
    •    Gather and understand the market intelligence, customer forecast, promotional activity, seasonality and other external factors that impact demand. Make recommended adjustments to forecast based on this information
    •    Measure, track & report forecast accuracy and corrective actions to drive improved outputs
    •    Enables PLAN to deliver/improve service & inventory targets by delivering/improving forecast measures for the owned portfolio
    •    Provide demand input to the IBP process to allow for transparency of risks and opportunities.
    •    Measure, track & report forecast accuracy and corrective actions to drive improved outputs

    Account for Product Lifecycle (NPI and End of Life):
    •    Collect information and collaborate with other functions (source, value stream, regulatory, project leaders etc.)
    •    Lead and supervise regional guidelines based on latest plan and ensure timely adherence to reflect demand forecast into the system
    •    Apply alternative methods such as market models, life cycle profiles and data substitution to generate scenarios and validate regional demand plans

    OMP Planning System
    •    Supports deployment of the demand planning governance including responsibilities for demand segmentation forecasting strategy considering demand forecastability and forecast value add performance
    •    Leads effort to achieve desired forecast value add targets through generation of and tuning of statistical forecasts, and regional change management
    •    Generates statistical forecast for assigned brands/markets including owning demand planning master data (discontinuations, NPI), demand history and exceptions, review of models and parameters, and running statistical forecast.
    •    Makes recommendations to improve forecast quality based on knowledge of forecasting methodologies, statistical modeling, and supply chain practices
    •    Guides insight to Regional and Global partners, providing rationale for forecast through underlying data and trends

    People management
    •    1-2 Direct report – Supervise the internal reports, processes & validation of demand
