The IT Senior Manager, Business Technology Lead (BTL) for Depuy Synthes will be responsible for helping to define and implement the global information technology strategies for Depuy Synthes R&D. This individual should be a strong communicator, a passionate change agent, and have a good understanding about the challenges and opportunities of R&D in Medical Devices. They will also serve as a primary point of contact for individuals at the Depuy Synthes Leeds R&D site and support regional R&D needs across EMEA, partnering with the local leadership teams, and take end-to-end accountability of all local IT R&D solutions. Responsibilities: Build positive partnerships with R&D to develop strategies and define priorities for business and associated technology investments, effectively managing investments to increase value. Coordinate with the product line organizations and IT shared services to build solutions at the forefront of technology within the constantly evolving digital world. Influence and drive business strategy and processes towards digitalization, and standardization, while maintaining J&J technology, quality, and compliance standards. Drive the implementation of key initiatives and projects in area of responsibility by ensuring appropriate business engagement, collaborating with key partners, clearing roadblocks, and challenging the status quo. Build relationships with external partners and vendors to capture insights, identify standard methodologies, and drive collaborative opportunities. Qualifications Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree is required, with preference in the field of computer science or engineering.
