The Senior Manager, New Product Portfolio has accountability for delivering the integration of new products into the Wound Closure & Healing supply chain, launch, and commercialization. The NPI teams' responsibilities encompass overall program management, manufacturing process design, design transfer, product launch, and stabilization. Key success metrics for this role are meeting project objectives including, but not limited to, project and launch commitments, cost of goods (COGS), project budget management, quality metrics and ability to meet projected demand. This role reports to the Director of Product Management within the Global Technical Operations team, and will have frequent interaction with senior leaders within the MD Supply Chain and across the Ethicon Wound Closure & Healing platform. This team member will have career development, resource management and oversight responsibilities for a team of site-based and remote reports. Key Responsibilities: Leads reports through standardized launch management tools and processes to deliver launch execution and achieve overall business objectives for the programs Communication to senior leadership including portfolio reviews, project performance, business risks, and mitigations. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant technical field, or general business required; advanced technical or business degree preferred Project Management certification preferred (e.g. PMP, FPX) Required: 8 years or more of relevant work experience in the highly regulated industry Experience in healthcare, MedTech, or Pharma industry is preferred 2 years or more of proven project or portfolio management experience Demonstrated record of talent development Strong communication and interpersonal and skills and an ability to work effectively with project teams and senior leaders Preferred: Financial competencies to drive sound business decisions Medical or industrial marketing and manufacturing experience Other: People Management experience required Requires up to 25% domestic and international travel At Johnson & Johnson, we’re on a mission to change the trajectory of health for humanity.
