This position can be located at any of the J&J Medical Devices sites within New Jersey or Pennsylvania; however, it will require a regular presence at our Raritan, NJ campus. About the team: Working across Johnson & Johnson Medical Device, the Technology & Innovation team partners closely with Professional Education, Marketing, IT, Commercial leaders, and health tech startups to bring exciting new educational technologies to life that deliver on key customer unmet needs and improve the customer learning experience globally. About this role: Are you passionate about technology and the role it can play to enable surgeons and their teams to achieve better outcomes? This is a significant role on a dynamic team to help design and deliver the future of surgical education and training on the safe and effective use of our products. You will lead Johnson & Johnson Institute CONNECT, a peer-to-peer learning platform that puts our Professional Education faculty at the fingertips of our healthcare professional learners, increasing access to some of the top educators in the world in their respective specialties. From discovery to delivery, you will shape the product vision in line with the broader Johnson & Johnson Medical Device Digital Education strategy and work with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and assorted partners to bring that vision to life. Responsibilities: Lead the product vision, set the strategic direction, and define the product roadmap Partner closely with team members from Professional Education to uncover opportunities and determine how best to use the platform within the broader context of their education and training plans Lead a continuous discovery practice, meeting regularly with customers (surgeons and other healthcare professionals) to identify unmet needs and determine how to deliver against them Listen to customer and collaborator feedback to continually optimize the product Align with key internal partners on the product outcomes and metrics to ensure that you are making the desired impact Qualifications Required: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required. MBA or advanced degree preferred. Experience shaping and driving a strategy across a complex organization required Strong and persuasive verbal and written communication skills required Comfort navigating through ambiguous problems with a wide range of cross-functional partners required Minimum of 4 years in dynamic Healthcare roles such as Marketing, Professional Education, Product Management, or other applicable experience required. Preferred: Experience innovating within a large organization preferred.
