Senior Occupational Health Nurse

Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies is currently recruiting for a Senior Occupational Health Nurse, (Sr. OHN) within the Johnson & Johnson Global Health Services (GHS) organization. The position will support 2 locations at Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Malvern, PA and DePuy Synthes, West Chester, PA. This position will require working at both sites with weekly schedule to be determined.

The Senior Occupational Health Nurse will contribute to dynamic health and wellness teams for Malvern and West Chester based employees. With the mentorship and supervision of the GHS Multi-Site Lead, this Sr. OHN role will collaborate with other Sr. OHNs, a Senior Coordinator, EAP, EHS, and Wellness staff, to provide Occupational Health and Wellness programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Adheres to GHS Guidelines and Nursing Standard Orders
• Provides clinical healthcare services including Nursing care for injuries & illnesses, Medical Surveillance examination, biometrics, and general health education
• Case management of Occupational Injuries and Illness
• Lead / collaborate with onsite Emergency Response Team, responding to onsite medical emergencies
• Responsible for compliance with OSHA regulations and recordkeeping and J&J Global Health standards.
• Drives improved health outcomes including reducing population health risks, managing and eliminating workplace health risks, and supporting improved business outcomes through advancing employee health and wellbeing.
• Implements preventative health and wellbeing events in accordance with Global Health policies and protocols, collaborating with key business partners
• Maintains accurate clinical records, applying approved medical, nursing, and statistical formats, including use of an Electronic Medical Record.
• Maintains and cultivates a safe working environment.
• Acquires knowledge of potential occupational hazards for assigned locations, along with treatment for exposures.
• Partners with other members of the Global Health team as well as Environment, Health and Safety, Human Resources, Facilities, and management partners to encourage an integrated team approach to solving problems.
• Participates in the development of Site Business plans supporting key Global Health initiatives.
• Participates in the Employee Development Program process. Attends continuing education programs.
• On occasion support off-site and off-shift programs.
