Location: Germany, Austria, Switzerland
The Senior Product & Business Development Manager Equipment Business DACH is responsible for both the product management and the business development of the Johnson & Johnson Vision equipment portfolio and related consumables in DACH. This role will report to the Manager Marketing Surgical DACH and support the development and execution of the DACH marketing plan and the business development plan for equipment and all related activities to achieve revenue and profit objectives.
Your Tasks & Responsibilities
Supports and implements specific marketing, sales and business development strategies and tactical programs in order to drive profitable growth of the equipment product lines in coordination with the Manager, Marketing Surgical DACH and the EMEA equipment functions as well as the DACH Commercial, Clinical Support and Technical Service teams. Ensures Marketing and business development activities are rolled out in the field.
Supports and executes launch plans for new and existing equipment products
Builds close relationships to KOLs and “rising stars” with focus on equipment products to increase share of voice to support product messaging and build a strong referral base.
Implements key strategic initiatives at DACH level and supports local market research activities in coordination with the Manager, Marketing Surgical, DACH, the Country Managers and the National Sales Manager.
Close cooperation with agencies to drive the development of promotional and educational materials
Ensures Marketing tools are frequently used in the field, monitors utilization and coaches the Sales team on how to best position the equipment portfolio.
Supports, organizes and realizes an effective presence of equipment products at major congresses and at scientific symposia, user meetings and other events
Participates in the preparation of Sales plans and campaigns with the Country Managers, National Sales Manager and Regional Sales Managers
Supports the development and servicing of surgeons and healthcare professional accounts to (over)achieve sales in the field of surgical equipment in close coordination with the Commerical Director, the Country Managers, the National Sales Manager, the Regional Sales Managers and the Territory Managers.
Develops a Business Development Strategy with the appropriate tools and action strands
Works closely with the CommEx Manager to monitor the funnel of Sales opportunities and to contribute to the preparation and submission of deal calculators, by leveraging market and pricing dynamics.
Continuously monitors reimbursement changes and defines Market Access Strategies and co-creates value-creation initiatives in coordination with the EMEA Market Access Management, the DACH Management Team and the Marketing Manager.
Supports the CommEx Manager, the Commercial Director and the Sales management during the budget planning and during the creation of incentive plans.
Acts as key point of contact for product related questions from internal and external sources and supports the training of the Sales team
Resolves difficult technical problems and customer complaints in collaboration with Technical Service and Clinical Support
ensures appropriate reporting of customer complaints and provides input for the development of products which anticipate and serve a customer need / solution approach
