The Senior Scientist in Large Molecule (LM) Drug Product Development & Delivery (DPD&D) will work independently and in conjunction with appropriate teams to support program/project needs. The candidate will also independently lead, design and perform development and characterization in support of formulation, process, and fill-finish activities for large molecules (e.g. mAbs, fusion proteins, bi-specifics, etc).
Key Responsibilities:
Design, execute, and lead formulation development experiments for monoclonal antibodies and other biologic drug candidates (including vaccines, gene therapy, ADC), including rational formulation design/selection plus characterization studies relevant to the stage of development. Studies include, but are not limited to, biophysical characterization, stability, formulation composition selection, and robustness.
Collect, analyze, and interpret data appropriately.
Acquire knowledge of current research landscape and industry direction to inform evaluation and development of novel formulation approaches to further an environment of scientific excellence and advancement.
Drive innovation for drug development and delivery, including publications, IP, and evaluation of new technologies.
Communicate clearly with team members, cross-functional colleagues, and external collaborators.
