Senior VAT Analyst

Senior VAT ANALYST

Location: Prague

Contract: full time, permanent contract

The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have:

• Supporting Accounts Payable team from VAT perspective:
  • Creating and maintaining VAT manuals
  • Maintaining/building VAT engine for auto-posting of AP invoices
  • Maintaining incorrect posting log
  • Ad hoc revision of AP posting and ensuring accuracy
  • Monitoring and implementing VAT changes – creating new tax codes, updating VAT manuals and ERP
  • Supporting continuous improvement of operational AP processes
• Training various teams on VAT fundamentals and changes
• Coordinating and arranging technical updates reflecting legal ERP requirements
• Supporting and collaborating with Deloitte VAT compliance team
• Liaising with J&J suppliers in relation to VAT queries
• Participation and collaboration in variety of projects (eg onboarding, divestitures, supporting e-invoicing,...)
• Managing foreign VAT recovery activities (eg maintaining and reconciling Foreign VAT accounts)
• Providing ad-hoc VAT analysis based on requests from local teams, auditors, compliance teams
• Maintain SOPs for VAT and Work instructions
