The APAC Digital Surgery Commercialization Manager will report into the APAC Digital Surgery Director, Orthopaedics. He/she will play a critical role in shaping the DePuy Synthes Digital Surgery business and strategies through integrating various data sources and designing and executing ongoing/rapid customer research to provide meaningful & actionable insights to both drive the business and identify new opportunity areas. This role will be a strong advocate in identifying new Digital Surgery innovation opportunities and working with markets to further pressure test and pilot new initiatives as well as supporting selected marketing / commercial excellence capability build. This role requires the ability to succeed in a highly ambiguous, frequently changing environment and is based in Singapore. Responsibilities: Market Analytics & Real-time Insights Collect and analyse quantitative and qualitative information from internal and external data sources (primary market research, secondary data analytics, and competitive intelligence) Market landscape & competition Market activities and customer trends New business opportunity, competitor analysis and business intelligence. Generate evidentiary data on macro trends pertaining to competitive business models, positioning strategy, partnerships, ecosystem planning, pricing/purchasing trends Execute real-time/rapid customer research to better understand customer needs/gaps Independently design, structure and execute research tools and methodology (including any necessary fieldwork), and analysis to arrive at new and valuable insights Innovative Business Models & Capability Development Support the translation of insights into new business models Customer experience Novel product, services, solutions (organic/inorganic) Payment/revenue models Partner with in-country teams on new commercial model development and pilot testing for existing and future offerings Initial customer journey mapping Concept development Execution enablers, planning & tracking Support selected marketing / commercial excellence initiatives to develop new capabilities eg. Digital, CRM, data/insights, value-based healthcare, etc. Qualifications Requirements: Strong analytical skills. Proven ability to extract / source data from multiple data sources and integrate them into a single source Organized and able to multi-task and manage multiple projects at the same time Good attention to detail but also able see bigger picture and analyse broader trends; ability to synthesize data and conceptualize ideas; commercial mindset Excellent team player, clear/succinct communicator, and attentive listener. Self-motivated. Ability to shape perspectives, influence diverse people & secure buy-in Advanced computer literacy and experience with market research analysis tools (Excel, Powerpoint, Tableau, etc.) Experience: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, statistics, or other related disciplines. MBA or Post Graduation is desirable but not mandatory Require 7-10 years related experience in Market research and analytics including competitive analysis, consumer behaviour analysis, customer segmentation and targeting, business intelligence and/or Business model innovation, BD/partnerships, commercial excellence Prior experience with the healthcare industry (medtech, capital equipment/robotics, health IT, hospitals services), etc will be an added advantage Primary Location Singapore-Singapore-Singapore- Organization Johnson & Johnson Pte.
