    The Senior Director, Channel Management, Pharmacy will lead the team to be the industry’s most trusted Pharmacy Channel partner for insight and account management excellence.  The leader will be accountable to optimize the patient journey with innovative program solutions through 1) Innovating Fearlessly through New Ways of Working 2) Delivering Account Management Excellence 3) Measuring Success through Metrics that Matter and 4) Elevating and Advancing Pharmacy Channel Management Talent.

    This leader will also have responsibility for the SCG Learning & Development team that supports learning for Janssen employees across the Market Access ecosystem.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Pharmacy Channel Strategy
      • Lead the Account Management function, consisting of Account Managers and Directors for the Retail and Specialty Pharmacy channel (buy side), inclusive of contracting for Fee for Service arrangements, quarterly business reviews, and overall partnerships in service of overall patient experience. 
      • Develop strategies in partnership with Patient Engagement and Customer Solutions (PECS), Value Access and Pricing (VAP), Contracting Offer Development and many others to ensure that Janssen is using all appropriate pharmacy capabilities to support patients consistent with brand strategies. 
      • Compliantly work with Specialty Pharmacies to support timely first fill and optimal patient experience throughout journey. 
      • Coach account management team in the use of data analytics, metrics, process improvements, and fee-based programs in the specialty pharmacies to enhance the experience of the Janssen patients.
      • Negotiate Fee For Service (FFS) contracts with these pharmacies for all Janssen brands ensuring compliance, terms, Fair Market Value (FMV) and brand criteria are met.
      • Ensure that the priorities of the Janssen brands are executed in the most efficient and effective manner across the pharmacy partners to speed impact for patients.  To do so, navigate the complexities of service agreements, working with FFS team, Brand, Legal, Compliance, Contracting and Account Teams to develop strategies and execute contracts in a timely manner. 
    • Learning & Development           
      • Provide leadership and guidance for the SCG Learning & Development team.  This team supports training and career development for all SCG team members and also field-based associates across the TAs that engage in the market access marketplace.
      • Ensure that the team’s training strategies build capabilities of employees and train to where the access market is headed (not just where the market is today)
      • Assess training approaches with tangible metrics to drive impact, and evolve training strategies based on metrics that matter

    Lead the team to execute plans on time, with high training impact and positive feedback from participants and content providers
