Overview of position Johnson & Johnson’s Global Corporate Affairs Strategy & Insights (GS&I) team is seeking a motivated individual who is passionate about utilizing data and insights to build strong brands, solve problems and drive business results. The Strategy & Insights Manager will be a strategic partner to the Global Communications and Public Affairs (GCPA) team in a shared mission to strengthen stakeholder trust in Johnson & Johnson and protect and enhance Johnson & Johnson’s corporate reputation. Relatedly, this individual will play a pivotal role in supporting the insights and analytic work surrounding a renewed Master Brand strategy that amplifies our purpose and solidifies our company position as an innovative Pharmaceutical and Medical Devices leader focused on advancing standard of care for patients around the world. This is a highly visible role that will serve as a key contributor to delivering positive outcomes for Johnson & Johnson and the broader Corporate Affairs (GCA) organization. This position is ideal for an individual looking to combine a strong analytic foundation and diverse business experience to create value beyond the numbers and guide GCA activations and investment decisions. This role provides the opportunity to use data-driven insights to influence the strategy and outcome of activities ranging from stakeholder communication strategies to marketing campaign executions. The role also provides the opportunity to engage with the most senior leaders across the organization. This role will also serve as the foundation for GS&I’s plan to strenghten advanced analytics capabilities. Responsibilities Create a global framework for deep stakeholder knowledge and insight, and build metrics to monitor progress against driving visibility in the marketplace ultimately changing J&J’s traditional brand perceptions Integrate with a cross-functional, global working team tasked with the development and execution of a multi-year master brand strategy for Johnson & Johnson Improve the speed and accuracy of campaign measurement and evaluation by leveraging SQL queries and other tools to automate data acquisition, integration, and visualization Build advanced analytics solutions/tools/dashboards from complex and often disparate datasets, map business goals to data requirements and recommend ways to address data gaps and limitations Communicate recommendations and insights to a broad set of business partners ranging from those seeking tactical insights to those requiring strategic recommendations Qualifications Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Marketing and/or business analytics, market research or related field, working on major brands and brand insights. Experience with digital and social media monitoring and analytic platforms. Knowledge of statistical methods and testing principles (e.g., test/control setup etc.) Ability to develop theories and “what if” scenarios and potential implications for stakeholders, and to be able to communicate these findings in a clear, concise manner Strong presentation and communication skills. Experience in creating compelling data visualization and storytelling.
