The Neuroscience Therapeutic Area is deeply committed to patients and to health care professionals and loved ones who care for them. Our research and development priorities are Neurodegeneration and Neuropsychiatric Diseases.
As the Neuroscience Therapeutic Area Clinical Development summer intern supporting the Director Department Strategic Operations, you will be a member of the clinical team dedicated to the research and development ofneuroscience therapeutics. This department includes execution of clinical strategies; the clinical and operational implementation of complex compound programs in Phase I to III clinical neuroscience studies. The selected candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to the departmental goals by assisting with the mapping of a SharePoint technology interface in the areas of process, budget, collaboration, and learning and development.
The goal of this internship program is to provide undergraduate or graduate students experience in working in a large pharmaceutical R&D setting and to gain basic understanding of the science and process of novel drug development. Students will have the opportunity to learn aspects of neuroscience disease states, as well as the phases and objectives of clinical trials.
