    Position summary

    Job summary

    • Protects quality, customer service and revenue in line with our CREDO through ensuring the EMEA distribution hubs are maintaining the right level of inventory on every item code in the BWI portfolio.
    • Performs Supply Chain activities such as demand planning, network planning, inventory optimization in our distribution network by governing and optimizing the DRP planning processes between warehouses.
    • Provides analytical and technical Supply Chain support for the assigned product portfolio.

    Duties & responsibilities

    Demand planning

    Participates in regional Demand S&OP with Marketing and Finance for dedicated portfolio products. Maintains updated historic demand information and promotional plans. Builds 3-18 mth. product volume forecasts based on historical demand information (or statistical model), product mix & Marketing intelligence (Phase in, phase out, future promotional plans). Loads and maintain product forecasts in the Planning System. Works with Supply Chain Plan Lead to prepare Regional S&OP meetings.

    Customer Service

    Works with Demand planning and marketing groups to make customer allocation decisions by analyzing historic demand, available supply and customer prioritization. Monitors and improves customer service level

    Network Planning

    Governs DRP process through: Working with CLS, regional and country SC groups to develop & maintain country warehouse inventory targets. Supports global allocation policy definition, mostly in case of constrained supply.

    Inventory management

    Monitors inventory levels across the network as reported by the planning systems. Purchasing planning: maintains inventory levels for externally manufactured products by reviewing projections and processing purchase orders on a weekly basis.

    Business partnerships

    Develops relationships with local supply chain teams and develop knowledge and understanding of the warehouse activities and capabilities. Builds liasion between business and Distribution Hub. Works closely with internal customers (Quality, Supply Planning, Data Management, Finance, Regulatory affairs) to achieve business objectives.

    Processes and Systems improvement

    Develops and/or support system & data integrity processes. Conducts historic performance analysis & one-off root cause and scenario analyses. Involves in trouble shooting/problem solving for process issues.

    • Update Supervisors on a regular basis
    • Responsible for timely communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
    • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
