Position Summary: Responsibility for the management of technical and customer support of the current and future Crop Management Product Portfolio in North & South America with a focus on physiological and natural/green products with a view to optimize the use of our products at customer and end-user level. Key Responsibilities: The main activities of the Technical Service Expert Americas are the following: Builds and maintains strong technical support relationships with all key accounts in the Americas with the aim to support sales objectives through technical service to the customers and market. Works together with the Product Manager(s) and Sales Manager(s) to define product-market approaches to achieve sustainable use of the relevant product range in the Americas. Provides in this area of activity: Direct field support Provides essential input to produce effective marketing communication tools and materials including use manuals and recommendations by the Marketing Manager Training of new and existing users to improve user effectiveness technical service and follow up at customer level before, during and after the season including data analysis and consolidation product trials with customers and key opinion leaders including protocol definition, contract discussions, report evaluation and approval post-season analysis and synthesis of use and application data as a source of improved use recommendations Supports product launches and execution of promotional campaigns to create awareness in the geographical area of responsibility Contributes to the Quality Assurance of the different FYSIUM components and other products there where necessary Supports handling of customer complaints and technical issues in cooperation with relevant Product Manager. Contributes to development projects as a formal or informal team member with technical expertise and knowledge customer and market feedback Qualifications Bachelor’s degree is required. A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a technical commercial function is required. Experienced in agrochemical business is preferred with preferably strong technical background within physiology and major fruit crops. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus. Likes to work in a hands-on environment with direct customer contact in an international B2B environment. Is well-organized, works independently and communicates easily with different internal and external stakeholders. Is flexible, entrepreneurial and able to perform in a demanding environment. The base pay range for this position is $88,000 to $123,500 The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
