Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc. is recruiting for a Technician to help assist the LCM team of Skin Health R&D, located in Skillman, NJ The Technician will support be responsible for managing the laboratory and laboratory related activities for a broad range of consumer products for skin care. The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of LCM Manager to perform product development activities and support product related investigations. The Technician will maintain current knowledge and will adhere to Johnson & Johnson procedures. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for administrative activities for the lab: Equipment maintenance / calibration / qualification management Material procurement for lab Lab Raw Material management Lab organization Lab Safety management Operates current laboratory equipment and instruments and adheres to laboratory safety and SOPs Support product development activities under guidance: Execute experiments and DOE Monitor and perform lab stability testing Supports accurate record keeping and documentation Analyze test results compared to specifications/protocols/benchmark Create/Revise specifications Support product related investigations Supports R&D technical investigations through executions of agreed upon deliverable. Works with mentor/team leader to resolve problems and seeks help where appropriate. Qualifications Education: At least an Associate degree. Background in Sciences or Engineering preferred. Experience and Skills: Required: At least 2 years of experience in laboratory management and material procurement for laboratory Able to process formulated consumer products at lab scale Able to execute experiments and DOEs with guidance. Manage laboratory samples Execute physical testing of samples Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects/initiatives.
