Position summary

Based in Markham, Ontario, Johnson & Johnson Inc. employs approximately 400 people and is supported by the Guelph, Ontario manufacturing site. Role summary: Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of site wide training programs at the Johnson & Johnson Guelph manufacturing facility in alignment with corporate and regulatory standards. This includes areas such as Processing, Packaging, Warehouse and Quality. Major responsibilities: Develop and maintain a trainer certification program Administer the site-wide Learning Management System (ComplianceWire) Collaborate with partners to identify training and development needs, including support with investigations. Independent Quality Approver of On the Job Training (OJT) documentation. Support of the broader Quality Systems team through document management support and supervision of a co-op student. Qualifications Education and experience: BS/BA Degree in Business or Science (or another related field) Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in a Quality or R&D environment in the pharmaceutical, food or other regulated industry. Previous experience leading a training program in a manufacturing or laboratory setting. Strong personal computing skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word; proficient knowledge and skills in a Learning Management System is an asset. Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Documentation Practices required. Competencies: Ability to influence and engage people at different levels within an organization, while leveraging diverse viewpoints. Ability to work with limited supervision and function effectively in a team environment is essential. Excellent communication skills. Proven ability to organize and prioritize workload.
