Director, supports the Translational Science and Medicine (TSM) function within the Immunology TA and is responsible for leading and delivering key elements of the TSM business including communication platforms, organizational clarity efforts and FTE resource management. The TSM Business Excellence, Assoc. Director will be a member of the TSM Scientific Operations team within TSM. The successful candidate will partner with TSM leadership and teams to design and efficiently deliver highly effective and value-added communication platforms to facilitate transparency and business excellence within the organization. He/she will proactively build and maintain content and infrastructure to continually drive organizational clarity with TSM, a pivotal function interfacing research and late development, as well as proactively manage portfolio demand on talent resources within TSM. The TSM Business Excellence, Assoc. Director will play a vital role in delivering translational operational excellence to the Immunology portfolio. Essential functions: Partners with TSM leadership and teams to gather input for the design of an innovative communications platform for the dynamic and diverse TSM organization Lead timely implementation and maintenance of highly effective, interactive, and collaborative communication platform that supports functional needs as well as organizational level requirements Provides consistent transparency on timelines, updates regarding communication platforms & materials Drives organizational clarity through coordinating/facilitating TSM Academy curriculum, content and teams In partnership with TSM strategic implementation leads, creates and maintains TSM organizational materials Manages demand of Immunology portfolio on TSM organization end-to-end and proactively projects resource needs This is not an exhaustive, comprehensive listing of job function. May perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Requirements: A B.S. degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience is required. Experience pharmaceutical industry is with emphasis on project management, communication and resourcing is strongly encouraged. Experience leading teams and people is strongly encouraged. Demonstrated ability to manage projects with multiple stakeholders is strongly encouraged. Superior communication skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate at multiple levels within an organization is critical.
