Job Responsibilities:
Modernize all workflows that reside within Access Database. Pitch different concepts offered by JPMC to management, seek approval, create a project plan and execute the delivery of the new tool
Work with management to identify and deliver Analytics and report automation solutions
Develop best in class Dashboards/visualizations to generate actionable insights
Develop scalable data preparation, maintenance, and reporting procedures that can be leveraged by business units and functional areas across the firm
Implement data evaluation techniques aimed at measuring business risks and control issues
Develop re-usable tools that can be leveraged by business units across the firm
Perform data deep dives as needed using various techniques such as machine learning and text mining.
Collaborate with business managers and developers to integrate the results with existing systems
Comply with JPMC procedures and QA best practices to ensure the quality of data, models and outputs
Stay abreast of new tools and technologies to practice up-to-date data evaluation strategies
Collaborate with stakeholders across the firm to integrate results with existing systems and processes
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
Graduate or post graduate in computer science or related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of SQL knowledge - demonstrated through active usage of SQL to query and engineer data
Strong Visual Basic (VBA) knowledge
3+ years Tableau Analyst Developer experience in a large, matrix structured, mission-critical (financial services) environment. Proven ability to strategically develop complex, highly-visible analytical dashboards from concept through implementation
2+ year's experience leveraging data automation applications and environments (e.g. Xceptor, Alteryx etc)
Detailed knowledge and track record of delivery in Tableau Demonstrated ability to effectively manage all facets of the analytical project lifecycle (data exploration, hypothesis testing, code development, testing/validation, model deployment, etc.)
Ability to build relationships and leverage subject matter expertise to driving conversations and/or influence decisions/direction with Business and Technology areas. Get-it-done mindset with a strong bias towards action.
Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into a conceptual analytical and technical architecture Proficient in conducting advanced statistical analyses, working with large data sets. Has demonstrated ability to apply statistical methodologies to identify value add to the business
Experience in Tableau / Qlik View / Power BI Development/SQL Queries/VBA/Alteryx Designer/Alteryx Server
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
Experience in Visual Basic (VBA), MS SQL Server, Oracle, Hadoop, GIT, JIRA, Confluence, other Big Data Technologies
