Job responsibilities
Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
Lead end-to-end North America Cross Currency Wires product delivery processes including intake, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility decision-making, and product performance reporting, while escalating opportunities to improve efficiencies and functional coordination
Provide payments subject matter expertise to own, maintain, and execute on a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
Lead completion of change management activities across functional partners and ensures adherence to the firm's risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
Leverage specific payment rail knowledge to define requirements for critical flows and infrastructure within the overall product; work with engineers, architects and designers to build the optimal technical and user experience strategies
Write Jira stories and epics in support of data integration in product development, adhering to agile hygiene standards
Understand and analyze industry trends with Cross Currency Solutions and cash management, risk and regulatory developments, and competitive landscape
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
5+ years of experience in Cross Currency or Domestic Wires, ACH Payments, Real time payments
Subject matter expertise in Cross Currency Solutions or payments
Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
Understanding of client payment needs in various industries including eCommerce
Ability to use data to tell stories and drive behavior, and translate business objectives into quantifiable metrics
Expert at creating management communications, presenting to large audiences (clients, management, etc.)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
Creative problem solver, capable of developing innovative and differentiated solutions in a complex tech environment
