    Position summary

    for financial modeling.

    • Document model development processes, methodologies, and assumptions in a clear and comprehensive manner.

    • Perform model validation and back-testing to ensure accuracy and reliability.

    • Conduct monthly data validations for modeling input and quarterly model performance reviews for the model governance team.

    • Prepare detailed model performance reports, presentations, and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.

    • Stay informed about industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends in quantitative modeling.

    Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.

    • Proven experience of minimum 3 years in model development, quantitative analysis, or a related role.

    • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, SQL, or SAS.

    • Proficiency in statistical and mathematical modeling techniques.

    • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI).

    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.

    • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills.

    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

    • Experience of Python, SAS, SQL and Model building

    • Knowledge of Tableau and Alteryx will be an added advantage

    • SA Master's degree or Ph.D. is a plus.
