Job Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive reviews of loan files for completeness and accuracy
Perform specialized underwriting support, including credit analysis and document preparation
Review and analyze purchase contracts for compliance and completeness
Identify and flag critical contract elements that impact loan terms
Execute data verification processes to resolve alerts and validate borrower information
Maintain accurate participant data entry and system reporting
Coordinate with Home Loan Advisors on incomplete applications and missing documentation
Identify potential risks associated with mortgage applications and implement measures to mitigate those risks
Communicate decisions and findings effectively to internal stakeholders
Collaborate with Customer Care Specialists, Home Lending Advisors, Quality Assurance teams, Risk Partners, and Closers
Uphold customer service excellence in every interaction
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or related field
Proficiency in specialized systems, tools, and spreadsheet calculators
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Demonstrated decision-making skills in evaluating creditworthiness
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Commitment to customer service excellence
Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and regulatory environments
Experience maintaining accurate data entry and system reporting

Experience with different types of mortgage products
Strong understanding of federal and state mortgage regulations
Experience in home lending operations or evaluating creditworthiness
Ability to analyze customer documentation, determine income and repayment ability, and assess hardship or potential fraud
