Global Corporate Banking - Large Cap Associate - Netherlands

Assist Senior Corporate Bankers to develop and deepen the relationships for a portfolio of Netherlands-headquartered corporate and FIG clients.

• Leverage the bank's international network of bankers and product partners to efficiently lead the client relationships from a global perspective and address our clients' needs.

• Assist in the preparation of pitch books and other marketing materials to help generate new revenue, including conducting industry and company research and credit analysis.

• Provide corporate banking products, including cash management, trade, DCM, lending products, markets products, securities services, and asset management products.

• Process the onboarding of clients, present the respective business and credit cases to internal partners and committees, and prepare internal memos, committee memoranda, relationship reviews, account plans, client portfolios, and pipeline reporting.

• Act as the first line of defence for continuous credit quality monitoring.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Academic Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of three years of experience in a similar front-office role, e.g., in Corporate Banking, M&A, or Markets.

• Experience in coverage of listed and privately owned corporates in the Netherlands and knowledge of key decision makers.

• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and interpersonal skills.

• Solid in-depth knowledge of corporate banking products.

• Proven ability to develop client relationships, win new business, close transactions, and build networks, both internally and externally.

• Risk management expertise

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with senior colleagues, clients, and key stakeholders in other lines of business and manage cross-cultural environments.

• Energetic team player that demonstrates consistently high standard of personal integrity and commercial judgment

• Fluent in English

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Ideally fluent Dutch language skills

• Preferably with experience in originating credit and/or debt capital markets transactions.
