Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives
Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives
Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation
Creates a compelling Product vision and roadmap for JPMorgan Checkout, and gain buy-in from stakeholders and executive leadership
Leads, inspires and develops a talented team of direct and matrixed colleagues across multiple disciplines and functional areas, including Product, Design, Technology, Finance, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Marketing, Sales and others
Manages prioritization of requirements, resourcing and tradeoffs for the Checkout business and key business partners and stakeholders, carefully communicating process changes to stakeholders across the business
Works closely with the Commercialization team on the go-to-market plan
Serves as one of the Firm's Checkout subject matter experts and evangelists
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications
Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
Expertise and experience in Payments and Digital Commerce, including Merchant Acquiring and payment processing
Bridge-builder who can inspire confidence and between business & technical teams, and also across business units
Strong digital product delivery skills: well-organized, structured approach, ability to achieve tight timelines on complex deliverables
Proven track record of managing the end-to-end product development lifecycle for complex, large-scale initiatives using Agile methodology
Strong executive presence, very capable and comfortable communicator, confident in interacting with and presenting to all levels of management
Travel requirement: approximately 25% (as health & travel conditions permit)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Recognized thought leader within a related field
Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred
Technology and architecture experience will be an asset
