Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on infrastructure disciplines concepts and 2+ years applied experience
Hands on experience with HPE NonStop Infrastructure Engineer along with HPE Nonstop Development/Coding (eg. TAL, TACL, Python) Experience.
Experience with HPE NonStop/Tandem Subsystems J-Series and L-Series Operating Systems, TACL, FUP, TMF, RDF, Spoolers, NetBatch, DSM/TC, MEDIACOM, PERUSE, BACKUP, RESTORE integration, automation.
Strong knowledge of one or more scripting languages (e.g., Scripting, TAL, TACL, Python).
Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages: TACL, TAL, C/C++.
Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals.
Knowledge of Disaster Recovery or Sustained Resiliency (Planning, Execution, and Implementation) of HPE NonStop System.
Overall HPE NonStop/Tandem Systems Management/Administration and Troubleshooting.
Knowledge on Performance Management and tuning, using Measure and Viewsys.
Experience with Production monitoring and troubleshooting skills.
Drives to develop infrastructure engineering knowledge of additional domains, data fluency, and automation knowledge.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Knowledge/Experience on HPE NonStop Operating System Configuration & system database Management using Tandem's Distributed Systems Management Software, Configuration Manager, and (DSM/SCM) Software .
Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages: TACL, TAL, C/C++.
