Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
Follow and enhance the scrum practices for continuous team processes improvement
Collaborate with the Business Analysis team for producing estimates and agile delivery plans
Lead and Mentor junior developers on their growth as professionals (technical and soft skills)
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
Hands on experience in ServiceNow platform implementing workflows, flows, business rules and scripts, including client scripts, fix scripts and schedule jobs
Experience working on IT Service Management applications like Incident, Problem and Change Management
Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
Proficient in coding in one or more languages
Extensive knowledge of best practices developing in the ServiceNow platform including experience working on customizations, custom applications and integrations
Excellent analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills with experience in implementing inbound and outbound API integrations (REST)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Exposure to other modules like ITSM, HRSD, CSM, ITBM
Exposure to cloud technologies
Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform and PaaS model with relevance to ServiceNow integration solutions
Knowledge of ServiceNow performance assessment and best practices for improving performance
