Legal Entity Controller - Associate - Hong Kong

&L / Balance sheet, liaise with business managers / controllers to identify business drivers for significant variances

• Monitor the actual performance of businesses and support functions against entities plan

• Prepare annual statutory accounts and financial reports

• Prepare regulatory returns and regulatory disclosures

• Monitor compliance with various regulatory limits

• Perform impact analysis for new regulations and implement changes to regulatory reporting processes

• Work with LOB Business Manages/ Controllers to assess the regulatory implications on new businesses and products

• Ad hoc queries and projects as required

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• 5plus years relevant post graduate professional experience;

• Experience with HKMA regulations/reporting is required

• Effective and confident communicator

• Control and efficiency mindset along with attention to detail

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, able to work under pressure and multiple deliverables with competing deadlines

• Good team player

• Proficiency in English and Chinese

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Proficient in excel and digital tools (Alteryx; Unipath etc.)

• Accounting/Finance background - with experience in accounting (US GAAP/IFRS) and HKMA regulatory reporting preferred"
