Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
Advanced Experience (7 years) in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with IBM-Z/OS Mainframe applications
Experience with Mainframe development suite, COBOL, JCL, CICS, MQ, VSAM with primary focus on real-time processes and experience with batch, CICS Main view, REXX, CLIST
Proficient in FTP/NDM/File-Mover, CA-7, IBM Utilities, Intertest, File Aid, TSO/ISPF/SDSF, File Manager, Changeman, SORT
Experience with debug tools like Xpediter
Strong Database design and development skills in IMS DB, DB2, DB2 SQL and Stored Procedures
Experience with IBM WebSphere MQ messaging solution
Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
Experience estimating and planning JIRA stories (Documentation)
Passionate about building an innovative culture
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Exposure to distributed Technologies (Java, Kafka, Rest Web Service, XML)
Familiarity with AWS
Experience in a very large Financial Services technology environment
